The Story of VIVID Fitness Gear

I’ve always been active. Sport, training, movement. It’s been part of me for as long as I can remember. The gym became more than just a place to train. It became my therapy, my reset.

I was in the gym and I caught myself doing the same thing again. Fixing my towel. It kept slipping, bunching, sliding off the bench. Every set, the same frustration.

I looked around and realised everyone was using a regular bath towel. No tested materials. No optimisation. No real thought behind the towel to support performance.

That’s when it hit me. There has to be a better way.

So I turned that thought into action. I began sketching, testing, failing, and trying again. The first version never made it past the drawing board, but I kept going. After months of refining and countless prototypes, the multifunctional hooded gym towel was born.

A towel built for real lifters.
Made to stay in place, dry fast, cover the full bench, and support focus and performance.

From that point, I knew this was not just about a product. It was about purpose.

Originally, the brand was known as Gym Alphas, a name that represented strength, discipline, and leadership in the gym. But as we grew, so did our vision. We realised our mission reached beyond just the gym. It was about fitness, mindset, and lifestyle.

So we evolved.
We pivoted from Gym Alphas to VIVID Fitness Gear, a name that represents clarity, drive, and the pursuit of becoming your best self.

We’re a small Australian brand with a big mission. To empower lifters, athletes, and everyday gym goers with gear that performs as hard as they do. To create a movement built on strength, mindset, and progression. To help you become your vision inside and outside the gym.
